About Us


Tallawah Cultural Productions was founded by Colin B. Smith, a Jamaican-born cultural ambassador, visual artist, and musician, who together with theater artist and educator Micheal Forrest and producer, author, and journalist Curtis Myrie, they bring decades of experience in performance, production, and cultural storytelling.

Tallawah Cultural Productions Executive Director Colin Smith is a 2022 recipient of the Jamaican Government’s Badge of Honour for Meritorious Service (BHM) for his outstanding contribution to preserving Jamaica’s traditional folk culture and indigenous music.
